If I didn't have spiritual issues with this concept, I might try it out just for fun... Nah.

I don't mind saying that that is by far the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

That's funny! It's actually kind of sad, and I agree with Jonathan that it's dumb, but it is still quite humorous.

*heads over to her local Wal-Mart*

*Oh, wait - I don't have a local Wal-Mart. Oh, well*

I would never, ever think of doing anything like that, [-( but it certainly is an...interesting...way to connect with other people.

=; That is... embarrassing... I wouldn't want to walk around with that red bow announcing to everyone that I'm so desparate. [-(
Besides... considering the level of people my local Walmart attracts that's about the last retail store I'd go to looking for a date. Target is classier than that. 8-[

Oooh, what a sick idea! I wonder who came up with that. Wal-Mart doesn't care if you find a match, they just want to boost their sales. If that ever comes to the US, I'm never going shopping on a Friday!

What is this world coming to when people start shopping themselves around? [-(

That's a little strange... The bow thing is a good idea though, so that random guys wouldn't be walking up to you, trying to talk. Haha, and then you'd end up just being there to buy some stuff. :-P

I agree. I would not advertise to a store full of complete strangers that I am single. I would try to meet someone on my own first.

Peace Out

People, I so live in Germany! The only draw-back is that I live pretty far away from any Wal-Marts. ](*,)

*must think of a way to get to Wal-Mart*

Unless I misread the article, the bow is to announce your being single.

Ok--I agree with Chandler....... so now I must get a red bow and run to Target!!!!!

I mean after all--if I was so desperate as to go to a cheap department store and tie a huge honking red ribbon on my to notify any available man that I am single, I certainly would be too high class for Walmart.....;)

Yeah, that's what I meant... like, so then people can distinguish regular shoppers from people there for singles night.
