Cheese

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Sam's Club has these big packages of cheeses and I always get the provolone one. Classic cheese. :prop:

Sounds yummy! Every now and then I buy dill harvati and it's super yummy on sandwiches.

We haven't had such a practical application of that classic smiley in a long time! Sounds like you shop at a super classy location.

:highfive: You are a person of excellent taste, Laura!

All this talk of cheese makes me want to buy some. I assume Top is secretly doing underground marketing for Big Cheese.

I enjoyed cheese today in the form of a Kraft singles slice in a grilled cheese sandwich (because that was all I had the motivation to make by the time I was home to make supper.) Does that count? ;)

Cougar Gold gets my vote for best cheese ever. It's a sharp white cheddar made by Washington State University. It's stupid expensive but it's sooo good. I read something once that said they use apple juice in the process of making it!

One of my boys hates cheese. :( He will pick any bit of cheese off of food, cries if I put cheese on something.

Yet...he LOVES pizza. Says there isn't cheese on pizza.

Haha, what a kid thing to do, crying over one speck of cheese and then eating stacks of pizza. Good luck with that. ;)

Checks out, the same university spent years developing the cosmic crisp- supposedly the "best" apple.

I thought of bookworm right away when I saw EK mention the Cosmic Crisp apple! Maybe the apple and cheese are delicious together.

one time i worked in a grocery store bakery and i sold this like 9,000 year-old lady an apple pie and she wouldn't stop talking about how much she likes cheese with her apple pie (this is probably one of those things that they did during like world war ii or something). anyway, my shift was over and she still hadn't let me ring her up so i called over my sister, who also worked in this grocery store bakery, and made her keep talking to this lady while i went home. she told me that lady talked about apple pie and cheese for like twenty more minutes.

anyway, the apple and the cheese might be good together! i wouldn't know. i haven't tried it.
