Weather

If there's something on your mind that just doesn't seem to fall into any of the other categories, well, it quite likely belongs inside Joe Finneman's marketplace. Think of it as a general store for general discussions!

Weather

Post by Sunday »

I'm ready to pitch a fit.

It was in the 80's last week. It snowed over the weekend. It's been in the 60's today. Then I walk outside...and it starts hailing. How fair is that? Not very I'm thinking.

Is the weather that strange where you are?

Yeah, we were close to 80 last week, then got about an inch of snow overnight Saturday night and it snowed all day Sunday but didn't really stick.

It's poured rain all day today, and is maybe about 50 degrees.

I sure wish it was. Here, it's usually either raining, or too hot.

Here it's been raining off and on. It's cloudy and cold also. Last week it was warm and sunny. At one point today it was snowing a little bit.

The whole, 80's last week, snow this past weekend, happened all over the mid-western to mid US. I know, because I live in Michigan where we check the weather channel every day. The storm was huge, but it snowed all day Saturday and Sunday, then it's been raining all day yesterday and today. At least the rain melted the snow, but I had to miss 1 softball tournament and 1 softball game. Too bad, I was looking forward to them.
Do any of YOU know how to make hand shadows?

If I am, then that makes you my grandma. She just had a house built next to us.

Seriously, our states are neighbors.

I live an hour west of Chicago and we had tempertures in the 50s and on and off rain today. Plus it was also windy. In fact it is supposed to be in the 50s and rainy all week.

It's in the 70s / 80s here..........and ppl keep threatening me that it'll get into the 90s by mid-summer............imo the temps now are already summer temps.........it does NOT have my permission to get any hotter.

*considers moving to antartica*

Peace Out

Most places get really hot in the summer (not Antarctica though... that's just mind-numbing cold)... what really distinguishes them is how cold they get in the winter. :-

Thus the reason I wish to move there.

*is a happy-camper in cold climates..........the colder the better. But honestly a whimp when it comes to hot temps*

It's snowing here right now. I've seen snow in every month but July and May.

Last week it was 85 out. This week it's been around 50. It's snowing outside. ...Maybe the weather has been drinking too much caffiene.
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.
