Hello, good people! :)

Welcome to the newest addition to the Town of Odyssey... we finally got steps installed to the City Hall so we can get in!

But, anyway... in this forum, you can ask us questions, propose new ideas, complain, whatever needs done. We welcome any comments, as well! This is something of a feedback forum, basically.

Thanks,
~The Top Crusader, Mayor of Odyssey

I have a suggestion. When I joined at the TH during the crisis here I noticed that they have a thread dedicated to people coming and leaving. I believe this would be a good idea for us as well seeing how many threads like that there are here. It would give everyone a chance to say something without all the extra clutter. What do you think? A lot of the people here are from the TH, so it wasn't really needed since we all pretty much knew each other.

All of these sound fine....but I do have one concern......let's not have too many boards.

That's my concern as well. I felt like there were (and still are) plenty of threads to get to know people. Such as the"10 Things About You" thread. Having a place to introduce new people is nice (or coming and leaving) but it adds clutter to this already big place. (On the other hand, so does having the "goodbye" threads posted in other forums).

But we could maybe make another subforum to city hall if that's what people wanted.

I understand what you mean. I only suggested it because right now there are about 5 threads about people who can't decide whether they are leaving or not. I just thought it might be easier if there was only 1 thread, but everyone could post there. Did that clear it up? JF

No Double posts Shadowpaw :shame:
I think perhaps a welcome thread would be nice.

A stickified single welcome thread in Finneman's sounds like a better ide a to me...
but only if I'm appointed official welcome-er...

We could do a sticky welcome/goodbye thread in this forum here. What better place to announce yourself then the Steps of City Hall? It also wouldn't clutter the busier boards.

Margaret Faye, David Harley and myself just met at a homeless shelter. Now that we have some new admins in power, their first order of business was to install some steps and thus we can now use City Hall.
