Well, Nate, the answer is simple - if that had been the name, there might have been too many other people who wanted to join! 
This kept the outsiders who were interested much smaller in number.
Like one poor unnamed person who is married to Jimmy Barclay who was rather confused after she was let into the Mac Lovers faction and saw something other then what she had expected.
