How many times have you watched Napoleon Dynamite?
I haven't seen most of the newer ones. I really love their Jonah movie, so if that one gets to count, that's my favourite. The story is told well and the songs are lots of fun.Wakko wrote:What's your favorite VeggieTales video?Catspaw wrote:I do love that song...and their general philosophy in life. Once, and it was a looong time ago, and I have forgotten most of it. I wouldn't bother to watch it again just to refresh my memory.Woody wrote:How many times have you watched Napoleon Dynamite?
Thank you for asking so politely and adorably, but the answer is no.Marvin D. wrote:Can every day be $10 day? Pwease?
Yeah, Marvin. Talk about inflation. Then we'd have to change it to $100 day.Catspaw wrote:Thank you for asking so politely and adorably, but the answer is no.Marvin D. wrote:Can every day be $10 day? Pwease?
I wish we could have spontaneous $10 day, every few months because people who happen to come on are more likely to post if they have incentive of getting $10.snubs wrote:Yeah, Marvin. Talk about a stereotype, eh? Yes, some of us Canadians do actually say "eh" a lot, myself included. It's just one of those expressive filler words that gets added to the end of sentences without me even thinking about it. Just one more reason to love Canadians! We're super fun.Woody wrote:Do Canadians really say "eh" often?
I like both at different times. I love to sing along with soundtracks and worship music etc. but sometimes I just like to listen to instrumental music and think or pray or just let my thoughts drift. I spend enough time driving to have plenty of time to listen to both every week! Today I was listening to the Return of the King soundtrack, which is fantastic, and I love the Piano Guys, but I love my other music too. I will "cheat" on this question by saying I like both a lot!Graces4you wrote:Do you prefer instrumental music or music with words?
No inflation and more fun - I like it! Either convince a team running in the election that they should do this at some point, or PM me in a few months to remind me and we'll do a random fun bonus day. Maybe we could make it a more random number, like $7.83 or something more mysterious that will keep people guessing.Graces4you wrote:I wish we could have spontaneous $10 day, every few months because people who happen to come on are more likely to post if they have incentive of getting $10.snubs wrote:Yeah, Marvin. It tends to be however many times EK's been elected, plus one.snubs wrote:How many times can a person be elected into ToO office?
This post would be humorous if it wasn't accurate.DanP740 wrote:It tends to be however many times EK's been elected, plus one.snubs wrote:How many times can a person be elected into ToO office?

That would be fun maybe a mid winter $5 post day or $3.14 post day for pi day?Catspaw wrote:No inflation and more fun - I like it! It *is* humorous because it doesn't claim to be hard fact.bookworm wrote:This post would be humorous if it wasn't accurate.DanP740 wrote:It tends to be however many times EK's been elected, plus one.snubs wrote:How many times can a person be elected into ToO office?
Four times, according to the Guide to the ToO in City Hall, as I also just posted in EK's election thread, since it seems probable that is the source of origin for this inquiry.snubs wrote:How many times can a person be elected into ToO office?
I love the idea of celebrating Pi Day that way! I almost always forget Pi Day until I go online in the evening, but I will try to remember. I might need to mark it on my calendar or something.Graces4you wrote: That would be fun maybe a mid winter $5 post day or $3.14 post day for pi day?
It is indeed humourous because it is not hard fact!Marvin D. wrote:It *is* humorous because it doesn't claim to be hard fact.bookworm wrote:This post would be humorous if it wasn't accurate.DanP740 wrote:It tends to be however many times EK's been elected, plus one.snubs wrote:How many times can a person be elected into ToO office?
@Catspaw: Why is it no longer possible to purchase multiple raffle tickets?

Sure it is. Last time EK ran he was over the limit, but it was raised in order to allow it.Catspaw wrote:It is indeed humourous because it is not hard fact!Marvin D. wrote:It *is* humorous because it doesn't claim to be hard fact.bookworm wrote:This post would be humorous if it wasn't accurate.DanP740 wrote:It tends to be however many times EK's been elected, plus one.snubs wrote:How many times can a person be elected into ToO office?
This is the kind of limit that really should be updated periodically, since the intent is to make sure that one or two people do not monopolize the position of mayor/chief of police. We've run almost 30 elections already, so serving even 5 times wouldn't be a huge percentage of the entire history of the ToO. It is still entirely keeping with the intention of the rule to change it now and then. It made sense to change it a long time ago, and so it was changed. It will make sense to change it again in the future, because more time has passed and that is a significant factor for this type of rule.bookworm wrote:Sure it is.
