New Degrees
Alas, our time as Ryan & Angel is coming to an end. A sad account indeed, however we hope we have served you sufficiently, and that our administrative services have been satisfactory (even if somewhat controversial). I have personally enjoyed spending time here as a dictat...er, ruler here, and I am sure Angel has as well.
In any event, I would like to introduce to you, the new degree system, which isn't really new. If any of you will look back into Sekha's term, you'll find that this is based off of that. The degrees are the ones that they wanted to implement, but the prices and income are different, hopefully molding with the economy.
Here is a chart for the degrees, and I'll explain how they work:
High School Degree(+$100) (Degree Cost: $5,000) - Base salary: $200/3 days.
Associates Degree (+$200) (Degree Cost: $7,000) - Base Salary: $400/3 days.
Bachelors Degree (+$200) (Degree Cost: $12,000) - Base Salary: $600/3 days.
Masters Degree (+$200) (Degree Cost: $15,000) - Base Salary: $800/3 days
Doctorate Degree (+$200) (Degree Cost: $25,000) - Base Salary $1,000/3 days.
So this is how this will go down. You'll need to buy the degrees in the proper order. Which means you can't just jump and buy the Doctorate Degree, without having bought the rest of them . The first degree you should invest in is the High School degree, from there, your pay will be raised to 200 every three days. If you already have a salary of that, then that is just that, you still need to buy the degree, to stay in order.
The next degree is the Associates, and your salary will raise another $200. And it continues from there.
The degrees are located in the Shop, under "Degrees and Education"
So go and buy the High School degree first.
Then the Associates.
Then the Bachelors
Moving on to Masters.
And finally Doctorates!
I hope you all find these degrees worthy!

Oh thanks, you just raised my High School Diploma by $3,000, isn't that wonderful! I was saving up for it, too bad.

There are jobs. They are conveniently named "Bachelor's Degree Job," "Associates Degree Job," etc. *smirks*J-man wrote:What about my veterans bonuses?
..And do you have jobs in place for the degrees yet? Cause I don't want to start buying these things only to find out that it doesn't do me any good because there are no jobs. >_>

Being the ethical person I am ( ) I went ahead and spent a little over $50,000 on all of the degrees like everyone else would have to, instead of just giving myself them.
Which could have been my compensation for all the hard labor it took to implement them, but meh, .
And if you want a custom job title with your degree, you can just PM one of the admins, and they'll set you up with one *points to his job title* .
