I only got the SQL message once, but yesterday it was loading really slowly.

I mean need to start looking for another hosting provider... I still haven't heard back from Dreamhost, but according to their blogs, we're not the only ones having issues right now. I'm going to have to start doing some research on what other hosting options are out there these days!

Dreamhost did get back to me and apparently thetoo.com has gotten so large that some of the queries are taking forever to run which in turn is affecting all other sites I host on the same server that use databases. I've requested a transfer of all databases to a different virtual private server that gives me a bit more control over memory/mysql. I'm not sure how long it'll take, but it should occur sometime within the next 24 hours.

I'm told that the databases for this site will be moved tonight at 2:00 AM EST... so unfortunately we'll need to be patient just a little bit longer and then give it a good testing tomorrow to see if there's any improvement.

I just had to wait like an hour to get on here because this thing came up that said the site was dealing with difficulties and would be ready in a few moments!

I see absolutely no improvement at all. Sorry to be a downer, but I call 'em the way I see 'em. It loaded faster when it was down earlier.

Earlier this morning I kept getting a message when I loaded the website saying that this board is unavailable for a few moments, please try again later. Or something like that.. It seems to be okay right now though.
