Since I'm going to be at fireworks tonight, this topic will stay open for predictions an extra day. It shouldn't affect the outcome. Picks will be finalized Thursday at midnight EST.

Was the first one worth seeing?

*appears in cloud of smoke* I'll go with $82 million.

I believe that he is saying that the price of gas becomes the starting point, or x. If you guess within the range [x-5] -- [x+5], you are eligible to win tickets. So, since the price was $3.49, the range was (x-5), or $3.44, to (x+5), or $3.54. My guess, as he said, was $3.55, or one penny off of the required range.Knight Fisher wrote:American Eagle wrote:No, he was only 1 penny off. You had to be within 5 cents to get a ticket. And the first movie was good. You should see it.
It's been awhile, hasn't it?
I'll go with $81 million.

I think I might change to $90 million, if it's not too late...

This week is closed! Predictions ranged from $63.2M to $90M. The movie is doing really well at the moment, so I'm definitely thinking it will score higher than my $70M.

Note: To make it clear, when the actual numbers for the movie come out, it will be rounded to the nearest million. For example, if the movie makes $70,321,005, it will count as $70M.
