Post a Picture of Yourself with a 'Stache (closed)

I find it ironic that it has taken us so long to get started on a event called "Just ToO It". :P

Post a Picture of Yourself... With a Mustache.

Step One: Give yourself a mustache! You can use a fake mustache, chocolate, a sharpie, or whatever you like! If you have a real mustache, that's even better. :noway:
Step Two: Use your camera, phone, or webcam to snap a photo of yourself
Step Three: Upload the photo to the internet and PM me the link OR email it to me: jjfortheking[at]gmail[dot]com

Note: You cannot use an old picture of yourself. This photo must be taken after July 7, 2013. No photoshop. :x
Examples:

After all the pictures are collected, we'll post a poll where the community can vote for its favorite photo. No one can vote for their own entry. The winner gets $250 in cash.

Questions? Comments? The deadline is Sunday at 11:59PM EST. You have 115 hours to make the ToO proud of your 'stache. :sniff:

Question: Can we use photoshop or some sort of editing software in post?

You can use photo editing software, but the mustache has to be on your person in real life. (E.g., you can use photoshop to take away redeye, but not to add a mustache.)

I'm going to work out a contingency plan for people who can't post their picture online. Stick around.

How do you plan to police that?
I think we’ve had a discussion before on why this policy is lacking.

I say you make the statement, then you rely on the honor system for people to follow the rule.

Also, I'm not sure about polls on the ToO, but on some polls, it can show who voted for whom.

Which isn’t policing. ;)

I’m sure putting people on their honor is fine for our community, but really, the most effective action would be to actually mandate everyone to vote for their own thereby ensuring equality across the board. Leaving it to the honor system means if someone does decide to cheat, since there is no way to know, they get an advantage over the ones who play fair.

Does it have to look like a realistic mustache?

Till the end of the line.

The honor system is the easiest option we have. It's been used countless times and has never, ever been abused. Ever.

No, the mustaches don't have to be realistic. \:D/

I can't believe the supreme lack of enthusiasm in this thread.

I will join this challenge, AE, and I will join it HARD. It's a fantastic idea. SUPPORT THE STACHE.

Rule Change!

I was feeling bold and decided to recreate this classy photo of myself:
Image

However, I just ended up with a faceful of chocolate, peanut butter, graham crackers and marshmallows. It wasn't even worth posting. :- Therefore, I will allow you take a picture of yourself and photoshop a mustache onto it. I don't think any of you are master photoshoppers, so I think we'll easily be able to tell what's fake. By the pixels.

Three more days to enter! \:D/ Real or photoshopped, get those entries in!

Umm. I wasn't trying to defend anything. You didn't offer a valid alternative.

My thoughts:
It's been used in the past.
It may have been abused. We don't know.
The polls are fun and everyone forgets about them within a month, anyway.
It's the best option we have.
