Actually, it kind of is. My legal name is Jediah, but my mom wanted me to be called "J.J." instead, so my initials became my name at birth. I always introduce myself as JJ.

I stand corrected. ;)

Um, when people put two different people for each "Best Advice-Giver," which one would be chosen?

I'll take the first one, assuming there's more than one.

I would have, but I didn't know which one you wanted to keep.

I submitted mine, but I left a lot blank. It’s a neat idea, but I think there were too many categories. It loses meaning (and, at least for me, appeal to complete) when there are so many things to submit that don’t really have substance. For example, all the stuff on avs and sigs. Beyond being impractical to fill out because of the changing nature, I don’t see them as a genuine measure compared to things you can actually identify members by like the qualities of most inspiring or best advice giver. But maybe that’s just me.

I've got a maybe almost 20 votes in total, so I'm impressed.

I haven't received any other complaints about it, and you can simply not fill them if you really don't want to. If more people bring it out, it might be taken out next year.

I wasn't complaining, I was just explaining why so much of mine was blank in case you were thinking 'Why did he bother filling out these few categories' or something. It wasn't for lack of interest; I liked the idea and did my best to thoughtfully nominate in each category, but many of them just didn't work with me as I said.

Eh, I figured you wouldn't fill out a lot :p Like I said, even if you send in just one nomination, it's better than sending none, although I'm sure most people can fill out more.

Yep. There's way too many. I started filling in names just so I didn't leave blank spots.

That's what I was afraid some people would do. Stop giving the nominations real thought just to put a name down. >_>

Good for you snubs, hopefully most participants were more like you. Or like me in focusing participation to categories that could readily be given real thought. Either way is better than lowering consideration to raise nominations.

snubs is amazing, as always \:D/

You know, you don't have to fill them out in one sitting :p That's why you have two weeks to do it. I didn't find it very hard, really, since most of them were fairly obvious to me and only a few required some thought.

But I will most likely cut out some next year, based on what I've seen.

* split from here *

Aww, you're too kind, bookworm. I liked reading your explanation for why you chose members. It definitely makes it more interesting and meaningful. Personally, I worry about anybody who doesn't think CAT is the cutest couple...other than Trank, who are adorable in a less sarcastic kind of way. ;)
