Solved the second clue and passed the detour; after some issues with semantics and technicalities passed the next puzzle and made the second check in.

Take heart, those still struggling with the first one, this was much simpler.

Okay guys, KF and I are implementing a rule to keep teams from having to race on Christmas.

All leg-starting clues will be delayed by 24 hours. At the end of the leg, the teams that had this 24 hour delay will receive a 24 hour time credit and their next clue(Since the 24 hour time credit makes it so they've already served their 24 hour pit stop time).

For those who are mid-leg, feel free to finish up, but expect delays on clues given to you via PM, as I will be busy most of the day tomorrow.

I can't figure out the clue itself. I had an idea of what it could have meant, but it didn't pan out.

Okay, here's the hint I'll give:
You don't need to solve the numbers and phrase, they are separate clues that both lead to the same place. You just need to get one or the other, whichever comes to you. In case anyone has been pulling hair out trying to get them to work together somehow. There is no direct relationship.

Oh, I misunderstood. It doesn’t matter though, my original remark wasn’t about the clue itself anyway, it was about the detour it leads to. The second detour is much easier than the first. Both initial clues are about equally simple.
