Roughly every two weeks we will be holding a Meet and Greet on the ToO chatroom to encourage member interaction and to, well.. get to know each other and talk. Don't worry though, it won't be anything formal. It'll simply be a time of good conversation and fellowship, with the possibility of a game or two. The ToO Chat has a separate channel called #mafia where people can play live mafia. There's also a channel called #debate you can join (if you so desire) to engage in the discussion of controversial/debatable subjects. Feel free to stay as short or as long as you like! All we ask is that you make your presence.

Things to do at the Meet and Greet..

Play live Mafia in the channel #mafia.
Debate and discusses controversial subjects live in the channel #debate.
Play chess with a friend! (Click here for link)
Play a hosted chat game, if one is happening. Or be the GM (Game Master) of your own chat game! (Click for chat game list)
Chat with someone you've never talked to before.

It seems I have temporarily forgotten about this.

BUT, I remembered today! And am happy to announce THE TIME HAS FINALLY ARRIVED. $\:D/$

We will be holding our first Meet and Greet tomorrow, May 12, at 8:00pm EDT.

I know it is a bit short notice, but Moontide and I wanted to get things rolling. So if you can't make this one, there's always the next one.

Just stayed tuned to this thread for updates on when the next Meet and Greet will be held. We hope to hold the Meet and Greets on different days and times so more people will have the chance to join.

If you have a specific day and/or time you'd like one to be held let us know and maybe we'll be able to work something out!

If you have friends that would be interested, you can invite them for the Meet and Greet. Then they have a greater chance of meeting people, and not just talking to Mable when they log on.

We are hopping to have the one after this one on the 25th of May but the date isn't set in stone. Things could still change depending on what happens.

I'm fairly certain that Eastern Standard Daylight Time (ESDT) is not a thing...
Eastern Standard Time (EST), or Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), but not both...
And what I think is super lame is the fact that Daylight time actually lasts for more of the year than Standard now...
STUPID DAYLIGHT TIME, FORCING EVERYBODY TO GET UP AND TO GO TO BED EARLIER.

I may be there, I'm not sure as of yet. I may or may not go to Waffle House this evening, depending on if any of my friends decide to join me.

Welp, I was kinda hoping that moontide or snubs would host some events for it... Anyway though, if it helps, I did invite one guy, but he could not make it...

Games will happen, but not at every Meet and Greet. The point is mainly getting people on the chat, people who don't normally get on, and to encourage conversation and getting to know other fellow ToO'ers.. or SS'ers better.

Anyway, I could not do any games last night due to being a bit tied up with other things.
