Now that the referendum for splitting the Harlequin Theatre has passed, we need to vote for the names for the new sub-forums. Please select your preferred name for each forum from the respective section of the poll. It's actually 'The Little Theater', just the Harlequin is spelled the other way.
Don't change it, it will reset the votes I believe, just take note for if that wins.

I've seen it both ways. On the "Whit's End" board game it is 'theatre'

I hadn't seen it the other way until I did some searching just now because you said that. Interesting, either one does seem correct. There probably isn't an official spelling because people use the two pretty interchangeably. To me there is a distinct difference though.

Given that Odyssey is in the USA and the theater is the American spelling it would seem that that would be that Whit would call it. Unlike the Harlequin Theatre, he wouldn't feel the need to appear more uppity by using the British spelling.

That's my thinking as well. The LT is all about 'just do whatever and have fun', it likely wouldn't want the connotations of formality that come with the other spelling.

It doesn't matter to me. =p I like 'Theater' better anyway. =p

Well, it looks like Holstein's Books and The Little Theater it is!

They have now been added to The Harlequin Theatre! bookworm has offered to assist in sorting through and moving the threads into their new homes, so that will be happening during the coming days.

Yeah, I’m fairly familiar with HT’s contents as I had to go through every thread to make the Television Archive, so I’m glad to do it.
