Am I going crazy or do Dredge's threads keep disappearing? It happened a while ago and I thought I must have misremembered something, but I know one is missing now.

Dredge requested that a couple of his threads were deleted, and before that, we merged multiple of his threads into one.

Please return the deleted threads to the Steps. It is against protocol to remove threads that have been replied to. Especially ones that have accrued multiple pages of posts. If the discussion has run its course they can be locked. Deletion can't be demanded by a sole user once others have contributed content.

Yeah. What bookworm said. The only reason we would delete a thread would be if it was entirely spam or inappropriate.

By deleting the thread that other members replied to, you are deleting their posts, making their post count drop.

Not to mention removing the content of their posts, which outside of spam or abuse should never be done without their consent.

Why not post all your replies to my threads in a "Dredge's Failed Political Career" megathread and sticky it?
