My Sincerest Apologies
Posted: Tue Jul 09, 2019 1:22 pm
I've been meaning to make this post for some time, but I haven't had the time to put it down into words, and I'm honestly ashamed that it's taken me this long to post.
When I first talked with TS about running, I was excited to help breathe some new life into these Forums that have meant so much to me over the years.
But, for a team that ran on a platform of increasing activity, we sure haven't been very active at all, have we.
I have tried reaching TS, but haven't been able to get ahold of him for awhile.
For me, June was a ridiculously busy month. Between a crazy work schedule, and a lot of last-minute travel plans (for a variety of unexpected reasons), I have barely had time to put forth any effort into anything that isn't immediately crucial to my schedule. Last Wednesday was the first day since May 22 that I had had a day off at my own home.
I'm not trying to make excuses...
I made a promise to be more active when I ran, and I have not kept that promise. And for that, I am deeply sorry. I ask for your collective forgiveness in this matter.
I can't speak for TS, as I'm not entirely sure why he hasn't been active. However, at this point, I will make an effort to do at least one of the things that we had outlined in our Platform before our term is up.
I do not yet know which one I will tackle (your suggestions would be welcome; feel free to PM me, or simply reply here), and without TS's input it might be difficult to pulling any of them off.
However, I will do my best to make something happen.
I wish you all the best, and I hope we can earn some of your trust back in the coming weeks.
Sincerely,
JJ.
