Minor Change to Profiles

Post by Shadowpaw »

Everyone,

After some concerns were expressed regarding users being able to view which stocks certain users had (as well as bank account totals), Trent and I discussed it and came to the conclusion that we would disable the bank account views from the public. This I hope isn't too big of a deal, but we welcome any and all feedback you have for us!

I don't think it's that big of a deal either way, so cool beans!

Not a big deal... I would guess most people would probably prefer it this way!
Thanks for clearing it up Shadowpaw!

You could hide your bank account total from people (the default was visible), but the stocks were always visible.

It is just fine with me. How much money a member has in their account is private. Thanks Shadowpaw!! =D>

Well, Frank is cool too, but she wasn't referred to earlier in this thread. :noway:

I hadn't ever really thought about it before, but this way really does make more sense - the more I think about it, the more I like it! :D

I don't really care one way or the other. After all, it's kind of nice for people to see how well-off Mrs. Regis Blackgaard is, even on the ToO. ;-)

Thanks, Shadowpaw. I really don't mind either way, but I am sure you made the right choice!

I usually let Trentie talk all the technical stuff with S-paw...I'm not terribly good at it. Frankie usually works on more people-related things, like something very special that she's been working on for the last month with Trent for y'all that she hopes to release very soon. (Don't say what it is if you know... :-$ )

I like it a lot, but I would have liked the ability to show it if I so choose,... you know what I mean? I don't know if that's possible.

Unfortunately, that option isn't available. :(

You disabled the bank account views?!

That was my favorite part of the board! :mecry:

Now I must be forced to leave this community forever. :(
