It's nice to see another edition of the paper! \:D/ I enjoyed reading through it - there's quite a variety of interviews and such! Great job to all the interviewers and others involved in putting the newspaper together! :D

I do have to say that I didn't find the elephant "joke" very funny. :( I enjoyed the traffic camera one, but to me, the elephant one wasn't funny, and calling it a joke seems inappropriate. The same story and punchline with a different ending would be better. Maybe the elephant sprays him with muddy water instead? Challenge to other readers: find a funnier way to end the story! \:D/

Looks great! \:D/

Another awesome edition of the ToO Star! Great stuff (to borrow the colloquialism)! But there is an unfinished sentence from the Reading Contest article starting with 'The'.

Keep up the good work, ToO Star!

Lol- I'd read the elephant story in an email before.... and I really did find it funny :anxious:.

But then again, maybe it's just me being a bit macabre ;).

I enjoy some macabre humour as well - to me, this just wasn't a funny example of it. :-k Scott Adams, the author of Dilbert, wrote in his blog a while ago something about how the funnier something is, the more you can get away with. He had written a Dilbert comic that was risque for whatever reason, and it didn't get published, and he said that he's had sketchier stuff published, but that this one wasn't funny enough, and the others that has been published had been funny enough to get away with more stuff. To me, the elephant joke wasn't funny enough to get away with the ending. If others do like it, that's fine.
