Whitty Whit wrote:There has been nothing said or done to convince me otherwise.
“This is exactly my point! My being saved is the only convincing you should need. This is the one thing in the world that you can believe with complete certainty, and yet no one will! There is nothing more exasperating than this. In any other case, you would be totally right on to keep all possibilities open, but not this one!
If I swore, I would swear that I never have and never will try to outwit the Medic like that if I’m Mafia. I give you my absolute word! It will never happen!
I stress this to the breaking point because this is the one way that my team can get an advantage, using these absolute certainties in their strategy, but no one accepts them.”

WW, if you are town, which I'd like to believe you are, you should know that accusing Bookworm is the fastest way to get yourself killed. If, hypothetically speaking, Bookworm is a Mafia and attempted suicide, that would mean that the Mafia this round are perfectly and utterly stupid. If I was Mafia(which I am not), and Bookworm was too, I would by no means risk losing Bookworm. In my mind, Bookworm is the MVP of Mafia, for whichever side he is on. *Stands by to watch Bookworm and WW fight some more*

Jesus' Princess finished up her morning run, much later than usual, and was getting ready to head home, She rounded the corner, and saw the crowd gathered in the center of town. After hearing about the near death of Bookworm, she watched and listened to her fellow townspeople as they discussed their next move. She wasn't sure who was guilty, so she decided to listen a while longer before accusing anyone.

“I appreciate your support Woody, thank you. But in WW’s defense he hasn’t actually accused me. What I’m taking issue with isn’t that he thinks I am Mafia, but that he thinks I still might be. No one should think that anymore this game.”

"Also, I think that we should believe Bookworm. He swore that he would never try to outwit anyone with a risky, backwards move. If Bookworm feels the need to swear that he wouldn't do something, then I, personally, believe him. In continuing to doubt Bookworm's word, after he swears he didn't do something, you are, in turn, doubting his integrity, which I feel is completely unnecessary."

KF glared at him and started passing out brochures.

Why No Voting Is Dumb: An Educational Piece.

No voting is dumb for the following reasons:
1 No voting ruins the game. You have to stick your neck out and decide.
2 As JCGJ said you have an approximately 4/5 at this point in the game chance of killing a town person. Yet if enough townies no vote the mafia can voted and eliminate someone without competition.
3 No voting is incredibly great for the mafia because they don't have to vote for a town that round.
4 There will always be a kill. Not having a kill influenced as much as possible by the town either A Kills a town. And give mafia tempo for a night kill. Or B Very rarely kills a mafia. And still gives the mafia a night kill.
5 It has no positives for town. And plenty for mafia.

To sum up. It doesn't matter a bit if you vote. Someone will die. And the less townies voting, the more chance it will be a townie.

Very good points KF. The first round is usually blind. I actually believe it is Joy because she saw that WW was most likely to be killed so she decided to NO VOTE so she wouldn't look suspicious. I will have to go

Aeva rolled her shoulders to relieve a crick and sighed. "Can we all please calm down? Shouting at each other is not going to help. We are all blind at the moment. The only thing we know for sure is that bookworm is not one of the Mafia. However, there are a few hypotheses could be worth some consideration....

1) The Mafia could be newer members who took a chance on killing bookworm in the hope that the Medic might be a new player also and might save somebody else.

2) On the other hand, the Mafia could be more experienced players. Perhaps they targeted bookworm assuming he would be saved and intending to pin the attack on the newer members."

Aeva shrugged. "Or perhaps not; I could be way off. I just thought I would throw that out there."

Oh my goodness. Don't go all stupid on me now...

Edit: Perhaps you people are not as experienced as I perceived you to be. If you please, allow me to tell you something very important. I need everyone to pay attention. It's just not that hard. Get ready, here it is:

I am Town. Why do people think I am mafia? Why do people think that KF is NOT mafia. That is pure lunacy when I do the same thing KF does, but only I get accused for it. Please think about it logically. Some may be incapable of doing that. But try!

Seriously, no. I'm not getting the WW vibes from any of his posts. Right now I'm thinking Joy for various reasons. Mainly she isn't voting because she thinks it would help the town. She's voting because if she doesn't she will stand out as guilty.

“KF has accurately explained the harmful nature of not voting. Unless there is a clear strategic advantage to not having a kill during the day, every Town player should always vote. ‘Because we might kill a Townie’ is not a valid reason not to vote. Yes, we might. But we might also get a Mafia. If we don’t vote, then we won’t get either. The Mafia always get a kill (baring a Medic save) so it is absolutely counterproductive to the Town side to purposefully pass on our only chance to keep pace.”
