Sunshine wrote:
So, then, would you (from your experience and wisdom in this game) say that it is generally good to not reveal your role, so long as you can show connecting points to prove the case, or not?
“Yes, I would say that.
The Medic is by far the most powerful and vital role to the Town’s success, so they should never reveal themselves unless absolutely necessary (which it can be at times, but those times are rare) because it makes their role instantly useless. From that time on they would have to save themselves every night because the Mafia will now have them as their number one target.
The Sheriff is a very useful role, but not a vital one. They also should not reveal themselves unnecessarily, but if there is a good reason to they definitely should because it adds credibility to their claim. Assuming no one challenges them on that claim.
So yes, by all means if you have another way of presenting your point, do that instead of revealing your role. I believe that is what you tried to do here, you thought you had enough general evidence to push it, but in reality you didn’t this time, and that is why this time the additional information of your role would have been a good move.
Does that make sense to you?”

Sunshine wrote:
I see that the points I made were not valid points
“Were not completely valid points. You had a good foundation, there were just holes in the extrapolation that made the conclusions unable to stand solely on reasoning alone, which, again, is why the additional information of your role was required in this instance.”

"That most certainly makes sense. Thank you. =) Although I regret the way I presented this information, I believe I have learned a lot, considering this is the first mafia game I've ever participated in. Now I shall simply wait until the others draw their conclusions."

It is? I didn’t realize that! You’re doing very well for a first time! And in light of this information, your misstep is perfectly understandable. Like I said, you were definitely on the right track, you just jumped the gun a tiny bit. Learn from this, and I have no doubt you’ll develop your play wonderfully. :D

JC stood up.

"In learning that there are two Mafia, it really thickens things up a bit... It means that someone is covering for someone else... This is a very difficult choice, but I am inclined to believe Sunshine, in her claim as Sherriff.

So, I must:

Un-Vote: Blitz

and

VOTE: bookworm

I have no idea for sure if this is the correct choice, but I don't believe that Sunshine would put her integrity-reputation on the line just to win one game of Mafia..."

JC thought a moment...

"Who knows, Blitz and bookworm could both be the Mafia together...

Also, I must say goodbye, for this is probably my last night here, for the time being.

Thank you for a good game. This is one of the best I've played thus far..."

JC sat down, a contented look on his face.

Arkán stared at JC, and then inquired: "I was under the impression that one could not retract one's vote, thus such careful consideration."

“No, you are allowed to change your vote if you wish, the reason for the careful consideration is so you, ideally, won’t have to. But if you cast a vote after careful consideration of the current information, then new information comes up that would change your vote, you certainly can and should do so.”

~JCGJ~-->Blitz(1)
Arkán Dreamwalker-->Blitz(2)
Sunshine-->bookworm(1)
bookworm-->Blitz(3)
~JCGJ~-->Unvote Blitz(2)
~JCGJ~-->Vote bookworm(2)

The town was undecided. They could not agree on who to kill. The day ended, and because of the town's disagreement, there was No Kill

It is now night. Mafia, your kill. Medic, your save. Sheriff, your investigation.

Blitz walked down the street toward his home near City Hall. Little did he know that a certain group of Mafia had dug a hole in his path. A very deep hole. As Blitz walked the street, the poor Townie fell into the hole and broke his neck.

It is now day.
You can start voting now.

There are currently two Mafia, a Medic, and a Sheriff. Unless a Mafia is killed today, the town shall lose. :(

Wait, all players left are power roles? Interesting, I don’t believe I’ve seen that before.

The two Townies and the Tiebreaker are dead, so all that's left are the power roles.

"I say we lynch Bookworm, because the evidence is overwhelming.

However, with two Townies, and two Mafia, it's nearly impossible that the Town will win at this point... But I'm not going down without a fight.

I will:

VOTE: bookworm.

Bookworm and Arkán are the Mafia (according to my limited knowledge) because Sunshine investigated bookworm and found him to be guilty. If she was a fellow mafia with him, why would she betray him like that?

Mind you, this is a very abridged version of my thoughts right now, as I do not have time to post them verbatim."

Unfortunately, voting is over, so Sunshine, your vote does not count.

~JCGJ~-->bookworm(1)
Arkán Dreamwalker-->~JCGJ~(1)

So the two voting members of the town disagreed. Due to the lack of a tiebreaker, there was No Kill

It is now Night Mafia, your kill. Medic, your save. Sheriff, your investigation.
