Mafia Round 12 (Night Two!)

Evil has struck the ToO--whodunnit? Roleplay ToO Mafia and find out!

Honestly, I have no idea which way to vote. In one sense, ~JCGJ~ is a less valuable player than bookworm, so perhaps we should kill him first. But, in another sense, if bookworm is is the Mafia, that gives him another night to help the Mafia. And, if we kill ~JCGJ~ first, and he is indeed the Sheriff, then we've lost one of the major Town Power Roles. So it's a matter of which we'd rather lose: A good player, or the Sheriff. Personally, I'd rather lose a good player. Therefore, I must

If bookworm wasn't mafia, then he'd strongly object to what ~JCGJ~ said. But he didn't. So this small bit of evidence leads me to

“Not necessarily. At the moment nothing I say would help my situation, it’s simply more efficient to refrain from exerting myself in vain. Also, I would most likely know that that is what your analysis would have been, so I probably wouldn’t have played into it. Except in this case, when it’s simply the first reason.”

I disagree with this. I agree with your vote, but not your reason. In previous games, bookworm has protested, and has only gotten the response "Methinks he doth protest too much." Iagree with Woody, though, that

With seven votes cast for bookworm, just one more will kill him and end this day. You only have 48 hours to come to a consensus.

The sun was still shining high in the sky as the town came to a decision. Quite quickly bookworm was the collective vote to die. Taking inspiration from a great piece of literature, they made bookworm dig his hole and lie in it. He dug with a shovel that was exactly five feet long. The sun was setting when he finally dug a hole that was five feet across and five feet deep. The town pushed him into the hole and buried him. As the Mafia Member saw a last sliver of light, he murmured, "We should have killed Madame Zeroni."

It is now night. All night actions from Mafia and others need to be in to me by Friday. Good luck.

Ah! Sorry, guys. School and such has kept me more busy than I expected. But this isn't about me...Let's take a peek at what happened last night.

The Mafia left the town celebration early, disgusted that bookworm had been killed. However, instead of sulking and bawling through the night like many power-mad geniuses do, they instead decided to make a midnight snack. They went to the store and bought 486 packages of instant Jell-O. They worked for hours ensuring that all preparations were made.

As dawn approached, the Mafia decided it was time to go to work. They went to their victim's house and dragged the poor person kicking and screaming to his own backyard, where they had set up a vat of Jell-O. They pushed their victim into the full vat, then placed a cover over it. Their victim attempted to rise to the surface over and over again, but could not push the cover away to get the air that was desperately needed. Satisfied that their work was done, the Mafia members walked away.

But they did not see the Medic sneak in behind them. The Medic pulled the cover away and pulled the Mafia's would-be victim from the messy goop.

You have 10 days. Make the most of them.

I'm guessing ~JCGJ~ was the one saved. I've got nothing more than that to offer right now.

Rad came into the town area selling snow shoes was "Jell-O" shoes. "I believe I shall do the same," she said. "I'm glad to hear someone is still doing the saving out here."

We thankfully were able to thwart last night's attack. I would also like to hear what ~JCGJ~ has to say, although he won't return until Monday, I believe. I have nothing else to say at the moment.

JC finally arrived, walking through the doors with an exhausted look on his face.

"Well, unfortunately," he said with a cough, "the roleblocker decided that he/she didn't want me looking into anyone else's identity last night... So I really don't have much else to say at this point."
