After a good nights sleep considering all the deaths lately, the yacht members wake up to discover that Knight Fisher is dead. They rummage through his stuff and discover that he is a member of the paparazzi (cop).

This is who is still alive:
  • Cheetah,
  • Agent 86,
  • bookworm,
  • Reginald
There is one mafia still alive.

It takes 3 votes for a majority. Now vote on who should be thrown overboard. The day will end next Sunday, or when a majority is reached against a single person.

Also note that Connie G. isn't in this game so shouldn't be talking. (I left her reserved as a replacement player)* I shouldn't have counted her vote yesterday. However, It doesn't effect anything because bookworm voted the same way right after.

*I appear to have overestimated how many players drop out. Apologies to the people to don't get to play.

Well I saw that coming.

It's really frustrating because I wanted to address this when we woke up:
Knight Fisher wrote:
Uh. That's 4 out of 6 for Countess. Meaning she is most definitely not mafia.
I wanted him to explain his thinking behind that. I know what he were getting at but don't get the math there myself.
Would the other two not correspond with the two mafia? It seems to check out to me.

And if that is the case, it means the other mafia would be the one player that didn't vote right?

vote: Agent 86

Moontide, if there is a tie in the vote, does the day end with no kill, or does everyone voted for to make the tie die?

bookworm, by that logic, Knight Fisher could've been the other mafia. (But he wasn't. ;) ) I voted for no kill, because I didn't want to be immediately accused of mafia. And I didn't jump on the bandwagon for the same reason.

It seems to me that you might the mafia.

Vote: bookworm

STOP.
This sentence is true.
The sentence above is false.

I dare you not to read this.
Hey! I said not to read this.
Maybe if I talk like this.
Wait, you still see me? *sighs* I give up.

I was planning to flip a coin to see who dies if the vote ends on a tie.

It should be exceedingly apparent that I'm not mafia after Countess' role revelation since I'm the reason any attention was turned on her.

Now, I will say I was not basing my vote against you today on that thought process alone, that was just a starting point. It is very possible the other mafia went along with the popular vote yesterday to cover their tracks, seeing that the outcome was unavoidable. I was open to further developments changing my vote to someone else. However, your response here had the opposite effect. Immediate retaliation voting is always suspect, especially when it's for someone who is almost certainly not mafia. Combining that with your behavior yesterday I'm quite convinced you're the best choice this round.

I Hate to say this again, but I agree with bookworm. Agent 86 was the only one besides Knight Fisher who didn't vote for Countess.

VOTE: Agent 86

Oops. Sorry, I completely misunderstood. I thought I was just a stand-in for any role-member who dropped out, otherwise I was a normal citizen. Anyway, thanks for the clarification.

No harm was done.

Agent 86 has two votes against him. The next vote against him will reach the majority requirement of 3 votes and thus end the day.

With Reginald's vote a majority of votes was reached. Agent 86 was thrown in the deep blue sea with the sharks. The living tourists Agent 86's room and discover that he was mafia. That was the last mafia on the boat. Victory for the Town.

In away, I am surprised by how accurate both the mafia and the town were. The mafia killed both power-roles on its kills, and the town killed mafia on both days.

Post here if you would be interesting in playing again. If there is interest, I might run a second game.

Man, I thought we had it there.

bookworm, yes, I knew that you were usually saved on the first night, since you are the most valuable player. So I suggested we didn't kill you the first night.

But several blunders led to my death, first I didn't kill bookworm the second night when the doctor was dead. Second, I acted suspiciously on the second day.

Good game everyone. :) (I'd like to play again if we're going to.)

Completely by chance. :P Basically I just randomly chose someone.

Thanks for explaining Max; I had also considered that third possibility that the mafia did want to target me but voluntarily passed on it first night to avoid wasting a turn if I was the first save as was also a trend.

And yes, I would have been a better second kill in theory, but as it turns out in this circumstance it wouldn't have actually made a difference since KF investigated you. Accusation still would have turned on you that round, and it would have been even more compelling then just observational suspicions, it would have been a role claim. To get out of that you would have had to discredit KF somehow, harder to do than trying to explain your way out of what I had said. I don't think there was really anything that could have been done much differently in the long run, this game just happened to play out exactly in the town's favor.
