What books are you reading?

In the same vein as movie/music threads...

"Books? You want books?! Ha! We've got books on hairy otters, on onions and on mars! All the fungus you could care for, plus, three triple zillion stars. We've got books on flossing teeth, plus three books on tossing sheep. If we spent our lives just counting books, we'd never get to sleep!" -Leopold the Librarian ("The Great Wishy Woz, Part 2")

I haven't read the book, and based on your comments I don't know if I plan to, but I just saw the movie today! I couldn't compare it to the book, of course, but the movie was cleaner than I thought that it might be. In Canada it's only rated PG, but it still might be PG-13 in the US.

I am currently reading three books:

1. How to Be Good by Nick Hornby

2. True Believer by Nicholas Sparks

3. Be Honest - You're Not That Into Him Either by Ian Kerner
A happy ending is a story that hasn't finished yet.

Nothing but I need to get moving. This summer I have to read two books for school, and I need to read A book by Elisabeth Elliot, a biography of a Christian, and any fiction book for the Brio 30-day challenge.
Do any of YOU know how to make hand shadows?

I've recently been reading the Jedi Quest book series. I finished though, so now I'm looking for something else to read.

Definitely acute. :-

The slaves weren't mistreated mellow? I haven't read the book myself but according to my Civil War studies, that book helped stir up a lot of anti-slavery sentiment in the North. :-k

I'm still working on Piercing the Darkness, but I'm almost done. I'll probably be starting "The Hidden Hand" next. Or I might have 2 going at the same time- THH and "The Toy Campaign" from the Spirit Flyer series.

I actually can't really answer that question. It will give to much away. Basically some hikers go backpacking in the Idaho wodds and well interesting things begin to happen. Sorry it's so vague. I don't want to give anything away.

Mauve: How One Color Changed the World.
...can't remember the exact subtitle, but it's something to that effect.

I started re-reading Danger in the Shadows by Dee Henderson yesterday. It's the prequel to the O'Malley series, and I really like it! I own it, and I like to read it every now and then, just because the storyline is still fun, even if I know how the bad guy is caught. \:D/
