I think my favorite would be Peter or Lucy Pevensie in the Chronicles of Narnia. Samwise Gamgee (From LotR) is also one of my favorites...

Malcolm is my absolute favorite from George MacDonald's books Malcolm and The Marquis of Lossie.

Then, these are the other 'top few' on my list....

Annie from George MacDonald's book (edited by Michael Philips) the Maiden's Bequest.

Samwise Gamgee and Eowyn and Aragorn and Faramir.

Laddie (from Gene Stratton-Porter's book)

and Michael O'Halloran (from GS-P's book)

Hmmmm. That's difficult because there are certain characters I like for different reasons.

I know that I love Fred and George from Harry Potter. Miss Havishem from the Thursday Next series. LotR I think my favorite character is Aragorn. Pride and Prejudice it's a toss up between Lizzy andMr. Colins. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galexy: Marvin.

It think my all-time favorite character is Wiglaf from Beowulf. In fact, ny friends and I started a Wiglaf fan club!
