Here’s an interesting story I meant to mention a while back that came out of all the Friday attention.
Rebecca herself was not the only one to gain infamy through the Friday video. Benni Cinkle, one of the girls in the car (the friend that’s ‘by her right’), became known as ‘that girl in pink’ and received her share of the mean comments. As a response to all the intense negativity, she created an anti-bullying organization called That Girl In Pink Foundation. She has released two of her own songs: Can You See Me Now, the video for which is strangely private at the moment, and Gotta Get Out. Proceeds from the songs go to charities that help bullied youth.
