Barlow Girl

Post by HarlowRoxMySox »

I just got this CD Saturday I haven't gotten a chance to listen to it all yet, but I like what I've heard so far. Barlow Girl is one of my favorite bands.

It is worthy of your money! Trust me! (or to me it is!) Their old CD is really good, too!

I saw them at Acquire the Fire, they rocked! It's really interesting about how they got together, the guitarist wanted to be a mechanic, the drummer wanted to be a marine biologist, and the bassist wanted to be on Broadway. And they all got in a band! God has a sense of humor, as they said. I like the song Superchic[k] did about them, aaaanyways what I was going to say was,

I've got their single, Let Go, it's really good. I'm thinking of buying the album too.

I really like the group, especially because they take a stand for the same things I believe in. I have to wait to get the CD (I have no money), and I have other CDs waiting in line ahead of it (Lifesong, All I Really Want).

Yes. And lack of a way to MAKE money.

I was thinking of buying my first CD, but I have next to no spending money, and the little I do have usually goes to books or DVDs (there are like a dozen movies coming out in DVD in the next couple months that I really want :( ).

I love this group! They are my friends on MYspace too. Which doesn't mean they themselves added me or anything, but I digress. I love their stance on dating and I just find them very entertaining and godly.

I just listened to Enough, by them. It's pretty good, but I still prefer the original version by Chris Tomlin.

I'm actually thinking of singing that song at church...:-k

I have the resources and ability to burn a copy of it, but I'm still going to want to buy it when I can.

Barlow Girl is coming to Liberty in two weeks, along with Tait. I am looking forward to seeing them. I really appreciate their music a lot. Oh yeah, and I'm going to be seeing them with JF. :D
