Considering poWerbOy preceded that statement saying she liked Phantom Menace, I'm not sure we can accept her comments as valid . Hehe, just kidding.Jonathan wrote:Oh? And how so? I'm not a star wars fan, but was impressed by how Lucas pulled it off.

In my mind, Episode III blew the first two out of the water... it actually felt like a Star Wars movie. I wouldn't rank Episode III anywhere in my top 20 movie list (though, I guess I wouldn't rank any of the Star Wars films... though I do enjoy them), but it was definitely the best of the prequels... and most fans agree on that.
well i thought that the whole thing with anakin and padme was cheesy and anakin turned to the dark side too easily. And if general grievous was supposed to be a villain, i missed it. lol i found some of the most serious parts funny. maybe that's just me. actually it probably is just me. the movie wasn't awful, and i liked it but i definitely wouldn't say it's the best star wars film. and i didn't like the "only a sith deals in absolutes" line.Jonathan wrote:Oh? I haven't seen Ep. III yet. I have seen all the others and I am not sure if I as a parent would want my kids to see them, but I guess I will see then.

You mean in Episode III? I don't remember there being a scene like that but I haven't seen it since the theaters.map wrote:I think the best part was when they made the shadow in Darth's image
I really liked the publicity poster they had for Phantom Menace with little Ani walking in the desert Tatooine and his shadow is Darth Vadar

I am going show them in the order I saw them. VI, V and then episode IV.
The first scene of Star Wars I saw was Yoda's death.
Then the prequels.

Yoda doesn't die in Phantom Menace
