Disney or Dreamworks?

Post by HarlowRoxMySox »

I'm partial to Disney, because we've been buying Disney movies ever since I was little. I guess I like how most of the time they're clean. They don't really go for gross humor most of the time.
Do any of YOU know how to make hand shadows?

Although Disney has produced far more movies than Dreamworks (and I've enjoyed many Disney films), I'd have to go with the latter. They've produced many enjoyable movies, such as The Prince of Egypt, Shrek, Shrek 2, Shark Tale--which I still have yet to see #-o--and Joseph - King of Dreams. \:D/

I second that. Can't wait for them to get away from Disney.

That's a hard decision. Although Dreamworks has produced some excellent movies, I still prefer Disney. Possibly becuase it's been around longer? I'm not sure, but I do. I do have to add that Dreamworks is definitely on my favorites list.

Actually... It's sort of hard to compare. Since they both produce two different types of movies. Animated and not animated... though disney did do Toy Story and Finding Nemo, I still think that they are two very different companies.

I liked Shartale, yep, but I'm going to go with Disney. :)

Disney up until Mulan was good. It will be interesting to see how Disney will do once Eisner's gone. When Eisner closed the animation studio in Florida I believe that was a bad idea because that is almost effectively killing the traditional animation genre for Disney.

Yeah, I think the Emporer's New Groove was definately Disney's funniest movie yet. There's so many quotes I could add from that movie. It's probably my favorite.

However, Disney also produces films which are, lets say, not so clean, or moral, etc. I chose neither, then regretted it, I perfer Dreamworks.

I never said Dreamworks was without it's flaws. If I had to choose, it'd be Dreamworks. And I never saw Sharktale, so I can't comment on it.
