Narnia Question
Christmas?
Narnia Question
I just thought of something when i went to see the movie the other day. I thought about the fact that there is Christmas in Narnia, but where did the holiday come from? We celebrate Christmas (at least it originally came from) the birht of Christ. But that didn't happen in Narnia. so where does the holiday originate?
It took me a few minutes to think about it. But I think I came up with a decent enough answer.
Well, since King Frank originated from our world in "The Magician's Nephew", I assume he took the custom and simply applied for all Narnians at the beginning of the world. I suppose for them, it isn't really celebrating the birth of Christ, but simply a celebration of togetherness, joy, and festivity.
