Face it. They rock.

Here's the place for discussing music, plays, YouTube videos, and any other media that doesn't quite fit in the other sections of Harlequin Theatre.

Is Barlow Girl the best all girl Christian rock band to date?

Hoo Hay two Times Tuesday YES!

How 'bout this, ToO?
THE BARLOWGIRLS WHO HAPPEN to be the best rock band for girls out there, face it... wrote:Superstar

Well, I spent my life dreaming super dreams.
But I hate to wake cause it's then I see
That I'm nothing more than a dreamer.
Superstar in my dreams, I'm a dreamer.

See the lights of stardom were calling me
Because only then someone I would be.
So my goal in life was to get there
Never satisfied

Chorus
I wanna be a star
But is that all I'm really here for?
And if I'm not a star, will it be ok?
Could I still be someone?
Dat's a good one. \:D/

annoying little coins! but,
they might be giants.

I like Barlow Girl but I don't even know any other ALL girl rock band... doesn't Superchick have males in the band?

I like Superchik more, though I don't really like either of them that much.

I accidentally voted wrong. I think they're the best all girl band.
Superchick only has 2 girls in it. The other 4 memebers are guys.

Um, yes... They pretty much rock my socks off!!! :D I love both of their CDs! My favorite song currently is Psalm 73 (My God's Enough).

Speaking of that... Jen, have you found out if they are coming here for a concert anytime soon?? I really want to go!

I know a couple of girls who are really into them, but I am not sure if I have heard any of their songs. I've heard the one about Valentine's Day, but I think that was by Superchick.

Hence the reason that Barlow GIrl is the obvious best! :p

And Vange here's what I got off the barlow girl site about the Redmond concert:

----
2/10/2006
Overlake Christian Church
Redmond, Washington

Event: Rebecca St. James Spring Tour

Venue:
Overlake Christian Church
Redmond, Washington

Start time: 7:00 PM

More Info:
9900 Willows Road NE
206-546-7350

www.rsjames.com
----

I went to google maps and found out exactly where it is. It'll take just over an hour to get there from my house. Now I'm going to the Rebecca St. James site to see about prices. Or maybe the church site?

Well, I found a number for ticket info . . .206-546-7350

Ooh, here I have a seating chart and prices.

Yes, Rebecca St. James will be awesome as well! Then there is a guy performing . . . I've never heard of him though. Should be interesting.

Weird, speaking of DC Talk, Kevin M [don't know how to spell his last name] has a Myspace AND he has C.S. Lewis, who I just added, as his friend.

Ok, that was off-topic, but any hoo.

*gasp*

I so want to go to CreationFest! But it's like...like...in July...and so far away from my house...

I HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO DRIVE A CAR! No matter if I don't have my permit yet, I have to learn how! Now! So I can ride across two states and crash into the BG's bus! Then I could TOUR with THEM! And my dream would come true! =D> My imagination's getting away with me here... :sniff: But the Barlows ROCK, and I can't see them on the 29th, either. :-# *dies*

I don't know if crashing into them would naturally lead to touring with them. :anxious:

Hehe! Stalker! Just kidding. The concert plans are really coming together. I don't even have tickets yet but I'm SOOOO excited! I love concerts.

No fair. *pouts*

But I might be able to hitch a ride with my parent's friend's family...the cost is 80 bucks though...that would spoil my plans for camp this year.

PLEASE! BARLOWGIRL! COME TO MY CITY! (If you actually read this, I can't give out personal info online, so join the ToO and PM me for details ;-) )

I want to go so bad...not even for their music, just to meet them! If only... :boohoo:
