I enjoy their music, even though I haven't heard much of it. :anxious:

I have never heard of Skillet. Are they a Christian band?

At first I thought they were too hard. But now they grew on me and now I LOVE them. I own three of their CDs.

Another good band, if you like skillet, is Disciple. I don't think that they have very much in common, but those are just the two hard rock bands I like.

Skillet's ok. I can tell by some of their lyrics that whoever writes the songs isn't grounded very well doctrinally.

I don't like skillet, to put it bluntly. It's too hard for me. I prefer something more like Switchfoot or the Newsboys.

I just don't like it when you can't tell whether they're singing or just screaming and making loud noises.

I haven't heard alot of them, a few songs. I like Collide. I like rock, but I am not favorable to the really hard rock screamy kind of songs.

lol. good point.
The only songs I like from them are Collide and Love Can Take a Little. I can't think of any others, except Be Thou My Vision, which of course they didn't write.

Whohoo! Although, with Switchfoot, although their music is really good, they had to sign a contract that they wouldn't mention Jesus in any of their songs.

wow I didn't know that. that must have been recent because they definitely did in some of their older stuff. that is really sad, and honestly, disappointing.
