Um, we got all of them right... #1 had two answers, in the passage, it lists prices for a 5-20 year-old, and a 20-60 year-old.

You missed #25, you answered Zion while the answer was Jerusalem. They are different, in the verse it says of daughter of Zion, which is Jerusalem, not Zion itself.

In my experience, Zion is often used as a synonym for Jerusalem. And even with that technicality, I gave the exact reference, I can't imagine that small error is worth a full point.

Normally I would just brush this off, but when the winning difference is half a point, and the error so minor, I frankly don't think it fair.

I considered it enough.

In that case, I must ask, what question did the Three Disciples get half right? Because our answer is at least a sixth right.

I really hate to look like a sore loser here, but I do see this as a genuine error in scoring.

I see what you mean... but you really shouldn't complain too much because you've had a fair amount of help/guidance from Jeho (which I personally don't think was entirely fair). Team 3 didn't have any help, plus one absent team member.

I asked clarifying questions on questions that could potentially have multiple answers. Questions that the other teams could have asked and gotten the same guidance I got, and that Jehoshaphat could have simply refused to answer. I see no problem with that. :shrugs: And I don't think it's entirely fair to talk about absent team members when I answered 96% of my team's questions. :P

I don't mean to sound whiny, but I frankly don't think it fair. The reference alone is worth the .5 points needed to tie the game, and all I'm asking for is that the answer be reconsidered. Heck, I don't even care about the money, I've got no real use for it, it's just the principle of the thing. I'm simply presenting, humbly and ungrudgingly, how I, as a gamemaster myself, would resolve this situation. Do with that what you will.

Before posting this thread I carefully considered whether or not to give you points for that question, ultimately I decided that I would not give you points for the question, that is why I said that scores are final. This wasn't a spur of the moment decision that I made, I actually did stop and think for a good amount of time before I decided.
