This is a neat video about using fold geometry to figure out how a certain shape can be made with just a single cut.

I'll have to try to follow the directions one day. I struggle with fancy paper-folding. If I give it a try with good directions, maybe I can add a new skill to my repertoire!

I don't need to make bat decorations for anything right now, but I'm going to try this just to do it because why not. It will be fun to see it turn out, if it does. I'm not a crafty person at all, but his directions seem clear enough that I think I can follow. And if it's easy to get the hang of it's something I can file away for if the need ever does arise for some simple bat shapes, like for a Halloween party or something some year.
