Yeah, part of me was thinking that the gas station scene would play an important part later (ie: Dalton would come in and P.J. would accidentally give him information about LM).

Anyway, I've loved all the eps in this arc so far, this one included. Even though I wasn't surprised about anything that happened. :| My main complaint would be that Leonard Meltsner's multiple appearances got a bit redundant at times. Also, does anyone else think they stuck that one scene with Katrina in just to appease those who were complaining that we never hear from her?

Audrey voiced Katrina again, so that doesn't bode well for the supposed reappearance of Doris Rathbone later this season... :doubt:

Also, neither of the bad guys at the end sounded like the Chairman. :(

Good ep! \:D/

It was alright...not the best AIO I've heard but not really bad either. I'd give it 4 stars. The storyline this season is going to be very interesting! It sounds exciting :D I think Dalton whatever-his-last-name was should turn out to be the Chairman--though, I agree, he didn't really sound like him (man, all you ToO people are rubbing off on me :anxious: ) lol. I was REALLY hoping they would bring the REAL Katrina back (since it was rumored that Doris might be returing this season...and they had BETTER not have a fake Doris...that'd be worse than the fake Katrina!) but, they didn't ](*,) I'm sure that Audrey is a very talanted person--but she just DOESN'T fit the part of Katrina! especially for long-time listeners like me, who have listened ever since Katrina originally showed up! Every time I hear her voice (as Katrina) I just cringe and think "there is no way she will ever sound like the real Katrina to me!" I think the whole thing with Everett (Eugene's little brother) was a cool little twist. Not like it means anything because he's dead but it was a cool thing to throw in there. Alright, I must go....but that's just my 2 cents.

I enjoyed today's episode! \:D/ Wow. I think that Katrina was used nicely - she sounded more like the Katrina that we like in what she said, and at least she wasn't just beautiful but voiceless in this ep. I was kind of hoping for Pamela Hayden back, though. :( If Doris returns, but with a different voice, or through old clips from the past, I shall be forced to cry myself to sleep for at least one night, and possibly more.

It sounds like there's definitely some fun to be had with Dalton Kearne, our newest villain! \:D/ I was also hoping that their would be some kind of Chairman connection (though I guess there still could be some kind of connection later on) but then I realized that if Dalton was the Chairman, then he obviously would know that Eugene was alive, right? So that really wouldn't make sense. Though I could be proven wrong one of these days. ;)

Was that for sure PJ at the gas station? It was the first thought that came to my mind, but he seemed too helpful. ;)

This episode gets a big 5 stars from me! Probably my favorite quote from the episode is "DADDDDDDDDDD!" But I think Dalton sounds like the chairman, and I like Katrina's voice, sure it's not the Katrina we're use to,but thats okay.

Try as annoying a ever... ;) I think it was him, as well.

I really liked the Everett twist. It was probably my favorite part of the show. How awesome that Eugene had a brother!

I agree with what others have said about Katrina's and Doris' voices. I very much hope for the old Katrina and Doris back.

I, quite honestly found the ending a bit too predictable. I was really hoping that Leonard would wait till another episode to trust Eugene. It would have been a bit more suspenceful. But, I was pleased with the episode as a whole. I find this whole storyline with Eugene and his father very ingenious. I'm enjoying it immensely.

What does that have to do with Pam and Doris? Pam wasn't available when they recorded something big, so they got a new actress. Even if Audrey continues voicing Katrina Pam can come back for Doris.

As for my opinion, it was pretty good. There were two things I disliked. 1 When Eugene announced to Whit that his Dad was hear. I don't know why, but the way Eugene started I was expected one of his overly intellectual announcement that would've been good for a laugh, and we got a melodramatic short one instead. But maybe I'm being picky.

The other thing I disliked wass that nothing surprised me. Earlier in the arc I got the impression Leonard was hiding from something, and I was dead positive about it. And hey, I was right. But this isn't a big deal either, since it didn't take a ton away from the coolness for me.

Things I liked: Whit and Eugene. Not only was their dialogue terrific, but I got the whole way through the ep without thinking "This should've happened with Hal." Seriously, Paul's acting was great.

As was Audrey's. This is the first time I haven't been upset about Pam being gone after listening to an ep. Granted, I'm still miffed that she got bumped from playing Katrina, but Audrey's scene in the middle was probably my favorite. The chemistry between them was back up to where it should be.

I also liked the story. Yes, it was predictable for me, but the plot and script were strong, and I enjoyed listening to it.

I'm giving this one 4/5

I can't speak for Applesauce, but I think that some of us were kind of thinking that if Doris was going to be around, that meant that Pamela Hayden would be around, and if she was going to be around, then she would do Katrina again. The "logical" conclusion may turn out to be utterly false, but I know that when I saw Nathan Hoobler post that Doris would be in an ep, that's what I thought. Only time will tell, I suppose.

PJ seems to be turning into quite the side character - I love it! It does make sense that it would be him instead of some random person.

The only thing that really annoyed me is the Dalton dude sounds obviously like... whatever other roles the guy played... with a weird accent. :anxious: What else did he do? Wasn't he one of the dudes in "The Perfect Witness" and one of the guys messing around in the Middle East in The Search for Whit?

PJ.. I can't think who that is.. :-s

Anyway, I gave it a 4/5. I agree with what Jonathan said, the Whit/Eugene dialogue and scenes were excellent.
