The episode was great. As a pharmacist, I liked that counterfeit drugs played a part. But even better, it appears Jeff will be sticking around. I like him as a character and yes, love interest for Connie.

My favorite line was, "No tower to call."

Also, Wooton is back to be annoying. I guess his (ab)normalcy couldn't last. And I feel a bit cheated. When they said the story included love, I was sure it was Maya. Now that it's not. .

Jeff and Connie?

NEVER.

Well, as much as I'd like to see this play out on the radio, I have a feeling the rest of this story will play out in the OAC.

By the way, I just noticed Ric Flair in that sig Marvin

That line was good. x)
I called it so I was pretty much laughing at Wooton for being baited. :anxious:
FOREVER.

And yeah. But will they still sell the albums? :?

That was in the back of my mind the whole time I was listening and made me sad. :boohoo:

Only one a year. The other 12 episodes are available only in the club.

I liked this two-parter. I didn't expect it to end the way it did, but it was good overall.

I have a feeling Connie will get engaged in the 12 episodes we won't hear.

Since I do not want her to wind up with Jeff, that is okay with me. =D>

Nothing against Jeff, I am pushing for Connie and Jason up until she says "I do".

I don't want Connie and Jeff to end up together. At all. Just. .no.

agreed. I think that'd be a bit too cliched

Not just cliche, but so. .obvious. I mean, they bring back Mitch for the sole purpose of getting rid of him (I really disliked how Chris ended the episode) and now they just bring back her first love interest. .if they turn this into a relationship. .

obvious, that too. I hoped that Connie and Jeff wouldn't renew previous romantic feelings and I'm glad they didn't.

The writers said last year that Eugene and Katrina will have kids before Connie gets married, and we know that's not going to happen so I don't think we have to worry about this situation.

You never know "miracle" babies happen all the time, and I would be really happy if it did.

Please, the writers also said they'd never bring Mitch back.

They still did.

I have a feeling writers write what they are told. ;-)

I don't see the big issue with a romance subplot for Connie. I think it might help her story along--she can't just stay where she is, questioning grief and suffering forever. As long as she doesn't act like she did with Mitch--and I think we can trust that she's matured since then, given her recent arcs--I don't understand why Connie getting married is such a huge problem.

That aside, the embedded MP3 is playing back Part 1, at least for me. :anxious:

Actually, I am glad the writers did extend her grieving process into the next couple of episodes. So often, on tv or radio, characters suffer a major loss and then the next ep is all happy go lucky. I think The Pilot was very realistic in the way it handled ConnieĀ“s grief.
