Left Behind Computer Game

Will anyone here buy it? I read Focus's review on it and I wish I could buy it but alas, it only runs on a Windows hardrive :(

What type of game is this? I've never heard of it? Is it an adventure game with puzzles?

Please tell me it's not an arcade style game. I don't want to be Buck racing through O'Hare airport trying to get to his VIP flyer room before everyone else does.

There might be more than one, but the one I've seen in stores is an RTS...

Really? I would think it'd be an adventure game or something. Who made it?

Wow, I laughed when I first read all this, because I thought it had to be some kind of joke... Left Behind as an RTS? Now that I've read the Gamespot review (3.4 out of 10! THAT's bad!) I know it's a joke. Check it out for yourself to see why you should never buy this game.

Haha, I love the tagline.
Gamespot wrote:Another good thing about the Rapture is that it will take you away from disastrous, buggy games like Left Behind: Eternal Forces.
Even the premise and basic objective of the game is laughable. "Given the game's Christian devotion, your goal is not to wipe out the enemy as in a typical RTS game but to convert as many neutrals and baddies as possible by raising their spirit level." Just the fact alone that this is based on a flawed perspective on evangelism makes me want to puke. Nevermind the terrible graphics and poor gameplay. :(

I also heard somewhere that is was bundled with spyware, or something similar (perhaps it was a rootkit?).

I prefer the Legend of Zelda ripoff "Spiritual Warfare" over this. :noway: You got to throw Fruits of the Spirit at people and it'd make them instantly kneel down and convert... then they died and their spirit went to heaven! \:D/

If the reviews reflect the game in any semblance of truth, why a company would spend that kind of money on a game like this is beyond me. :-s
