You weren't going to join the military before you started playing FPS games. :-
Actually, I had considered it. Besides, I haven't wanted to join the military as a result of playing FPS games either. It really doesn't have anything to do with it, other than it made me curious about some of the elements in real-life, such as the guns, ect. There is absolutely no comparison between FPS games and real life. The only thing it did (if it even had to do with anything) was spark an interest in some of the technology. I know quite a bit more about the real military than probably the average FPS gamer, and I didn't get that knowledge from playing AA. ;) My interest in the military most likely started with my relatives joining anyway.

Oh, and your lucky if you ever see the enemy in RL anyway. Shooting people in the face over and over again isn't exactly something you do everyday in the military, unlike Hollywood's popular belief. ;)

Wait a second, don't you have self-control not to say the F word cuz you heard it in a game? or a movie? Saving private ryan has like a ton of f-words and you don't say it because of that...

Yes, but there is a difference between hearing it when you watch a movie (which, for most people isn't a everyday thing) and playing it everyday for an extended period of time. Mom knows I like to play video games when I finish everything else that needs to be done. She just didn't want me hearing it everyday.

The decision has already been made, and it's not either of our places to argue. So let's just drop it.

That is an awesome attitude to have, Shad. It really is. :)
