Does anyone other than me enjoy the Command & Conquer series

Post by Pseudonym »

I've played every single Command and Conquer (CNC) game, the best games in the history of games. If you don't recognize any of the games below, then go buy one; you're missing out on something grand!

CNC: Tiberian Dawn
CNC: Tiberian Sun
CNC: Tiberium Wars
CNC: Red Alert
CNC: Red Alert 2
CNC: Renegade
CNC: Generals

And that's not including all of the expansion packs like Yuri's Revenge and Zero Hour.

So comment, are you a CNC fan?
So you lost your trust,
And you never should have.
No, you never should have.
But don't break your back
If you ever see this,
But don't answer that.
In a bullet proof vest
With the windows all closed,
I'll be doing my best
I'll see you soon.

Yeah its always been my favorite RTS. Really the older ones are so cheap now if someone hasn't played them they could probably get a package of all the older ones for really cheap.

You can get every single CNC game, including the newest one, for $50. It's called CNC Saga, and it's quite a good deal. \:D/

Well, I'm comforted to know there is another CNC fan in the ToO. =D>

Does that include Sole Surivor? Apart from that, I have all of them (The First Decade + CnC3).
I play CnC3 daily.

Btw, TFD is about $20-$30, great deal.

No, the only one missing (and the only one I haven't played) is Sole Survivor. Not that we want it, because it isn't supported so one wouldn't be able to actually do anything with it, because it was all online.

The only one I like is Generals and Zero Hour.

I like Generals as well, but I think CNC 3 is the best; just look at a few of these screenshots.

I haven't played C&C3 other than the demo, so not counting that, I think I like the Red Alert series the best overall... of course its gone the longest without a new entry so I guess we will see what happens once RA3 shows up. ;) But I like Generals better than the original Tiberium series, because its a lot more realistic... The Tiberium ones are a bit too far out there for me... still fun, definitely, but not my ideal choice.

I can't decide if I like the Tiberian or Red Alert universe better. :-k The whole time travel and parallel universe thing in Red Alert is interesting, but the Tiberian games are what started everything to do with CNC.

Yeah I just really like the Soviet Union aspect... though actually it was cooler in the first Red Alert I think where you had Stalin... the new premiere in RA2 was kind of dumb, and the Yuri stuff wasn't really my cup of tea...

But hey all the C&C games are awesome so it doesn't make that much difference. ;) C&C Renegade is actually one of very few FPSs that I actually enjoy!

Yeah, and if you borrow the pentagon's main server, it will look like that when you play (without going .25FPS). ](*,)

Actually, it looks like that on my computer. Really. And it's not slow or anything.
