Fallout 3

Post by Azariah Ben Yaakov »

Anyone played this? I was about to pick it up today, but bought GoW instead, I'll probably buy it in the coming weeks/months or something.
I like apocalyptic games, and this one has massive maps, but I don't know how the combat is, I'd prefer a lot of shooting, instead of running around and talking to people.

Well, 1/2 were both fairly heavy on diplomatic options (although shooting your way out of a situation was pretty much the everpresent fallback plan) but it depended on your skills.
I have no idea if Bethesda managed that or not.

Based on how much I seem to enjoy Oblivion, and how much I liked the previous Fallout iterations, I should probably get this game and deliver a more full estimate later. (Encouraged by the odd retro music selections, maybe.)
"Sonuna" Taranimak ("Sonuna" Sharkquill) has been content lately. She admired own very fine Bed recently. She talked with a parent recently. She talked with a friend recently. She had a good meal recently. She admired a fine tastefully-arranged Desk recently.
She is a citizen of The United States of America. She is a member of The State of Minnesota. She is a member of The Town of Odyssey.
"Sonuna" Taranimak likes Bauxite, Copper, Green jade, the color navy, cloaks, ballistas, cats for their aloofness and hydras for their seven heads. When possible, she prefers to consume Dr Pepper and ramen.
She lives at a relaxed pace. She tends to avoid crowds. She has a fertile imagination. She is completely disorganized. She is very distant and reserved. She tends not to openly express emotions. She needs caffeine to get through the working day.

I have Fallout 3 and love it! I like it better than Oblivion because in this game you actually care about the story, it isn't a real sucessor to the previous Fallout games but it is certainly a great game, you could possibly go through the whole game without shooting (this is directed at Sonuna) but it would get very old very fast, the whole theme of the game is very depressing though, you can't play it for too long at a time. ;)
