Dude! That game rocks!!!! I love it!

And in other news, I finally decided to sit down and beat the Halo 2 campaign. Making good progress. When I'm done with that, I'll move on to actually finishing Mercenaries.

Quick poll: should I get Animal Crossing WW or Mario Kart DS? I want a wifi game (router in house and all), but can't decide.
For reference, I liked GCN AC, so am tending towards that one...

AC WW seems more Sonuna-ish!

I am home for Christmas break and have decided to throw some of my older games on my newer laptop. I was chilling the last few days with SimCity 3000 Unlimited. Just tonight though, I decided to play through Deus Ex. I have no regrets. The game is just as good, if not better, the second time around.

My favorite game of all time :). Incredibly long, which makes it all the more fun!

I too have played through it twice and I remember it was just as fun. I would even think about things that were about to happen but then swear I was confused with another game because the game was just so huge that it could easily have been 3 or 4 separate games. Just a terrific game!

I have seen it in stores and heard about Deus Ex but I've never played it or seen it played.

What style of game is it? Strategy? FPS?

Does it have anything to do with Greek Mythology :-k I seem to remember a picture of Zeus on the cover but I might be thinking of something totaly different...

That would be something totally different... Zeus is on the cover of "Age of Mythology" though ;).

Deus Ex is set in the near future and is a first person shooter. Kind of. It's one of the few games where you have choices. Each section of the game can be approached in several different ways. It's very cool because the game is more of an adventure game with first person shooter thrown in.

That actually sounds extremely fun!!

Hmm, I wonder if I should waste hours of my time by buying it and trying to beat it...

Depends on your definition of "waste" :). I think both David O and I would agree that there's nothing wasteful about spending time with Deus Ex :). The graphics are a bit dated now, but it's still super fun. If I didn't have so many un-played games waiting for my attention, I'd be tempted to play it right now.

I guess I'm playing the CoN game again right now... but I haven't really played it recently, so I don't know if that counts.

I'm too busy to play most video games, but if I get a new Nancy Drew PC game or KOTOR II for my birthday next month, I may carve out some time.
