How does it work, though? Do people just post their signatures/avatars here with a set price? or do they let people bid on the item?

Well, I like the bidding idea, don't know how far that will go or how well it will work, but yeah, that's how it could go for now. Let's just consider this whole thing a "trial run." Sooo Picnkers United BETA. :) :) :)

Why don't you let the creator decide? They can either have a set price or put their item(s) up for bid...?

If you make a signature and/or avatar, you get to sell it for however much you want...and keep the money. At least, from what I gather.

Yeah, kind of like with what Snubs said, it's pretty much independent. You make it, post it, sell it for a specified price, or just put it up for bids like an auction. It's pretty allowing and forgiving. And it's Picnik. You're welcome to join and post your creations! :) :)
