What did they say?
Are there any AIO episodes you listen to, and you can't figure out what a certain character is saying. For instance, in one of the Novacom episodes (I think it was Grand Opening II), when Mitch takes Connie on a picnic, he says, "I've packed your favorite...salami sandwhiches, sour cream and onion potato chips..." and then Connie finishes his sentence with "and chocolate _____." Anyone know what she said?
And in Top This, Cryin' Bryan Dern plays the "What Is He Saying" clip, in which a man sings an unintelligable line. Who knows what he said?

Okay. I got one! In "The Unraveling" Connie is at Mitch's grave and is reading what was written on his tombstone and says, "Robert Mitchell with his __________" WHAT DID SHE SAY?!?!?
It's about 12 and a half minutes in the episode...if you're listening to it on CD.
Thanks!
Peace out.

I listened to it again...it doesn't sound like Lord, King maybe? Not sure.

That's what I thought after Catspaw said Lord, but before that I thought it sounded like cape and I knew that wasn't right.

I'm pretty sure that it's King. I'll listen to the episode again to make sure. I've been meaning to do that anyway.macnut24 wrote:That's what I thought after Catspaw said Lord, but before that I thought it sounded like cape and I knew that wasn't right.
EDIT: I just listened to that scene and it IS King.
Yep. Wow, I was going to check just to be sure, but I actually remembered that.
Hmm...I can't think of anything right now...though I'm sure there are some things I couldn't understand...

I was lying awake the night after I posted that, and suddenly realized that it was King, not Lord. But then it was too late to go back on the computer, and then yesterday I was super busy and forgot that I was going to come to this thread to correct myself until late that night when I couldn't go on the computer. I'm glad that it's all sorted out now!

Cane? *dies laughing* That would be the best epitaph ever, other then "I told you I was sick!"
I think that Applesauce's interpretation of Rodney's line is correct!
The other night I was listening to "The Marriage Feast" and the king is trying to decide who the prince wants to marry. He says the knight's niece and the duke's daughter, but I missed the third one. I can't remember the title right now, but that part I caught, just not the second half.

I think....(well of course they guess in the episode).. but I think it is "I'm Just a man in the face of the circus of addiction" but I'm not entirely positive.H Tide wrote: And in Top This, Cryin' Bryan Dern plays the "What Is He Saying" clip, in which a man sings an unintelligable line. That's an interesting interpritation .....hmm...I may have to think of that line the next time I listen to that episode.
Yeah, I used to try to figure out what the guy was singing in "Top This," but I eventually gave up and assumed that he wasn't really saying anything, and the line was just somebody mumbling. However, if something really was said, I would love to know what it was. But come to think of it, that might just spoil the humor of that scene.

Smushed and Spicy!
I really need to change my avatar...
According to the Complete Guide, if I remember correctly, they were originally going to use a real clip from something that already existed as a song, but then realized that it would cost a lot of money to get the rights to do so, so some AIO-related person recorded himself singing something crazy. I'm pretty sure that any and all guesses as to what is being said will be wrong (or right! ) because I don't think that there actually is a real translation.
