The Odyssey Scoop - New/Improved: "ScoopYourself" Contest

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

The Odyssey Scoop - New/Improved: "ScoopYourself" Contest

Post by Jacob Isom »

It's the update that many of you have been waiting to see for a really long time! The Odyssey Scoop is fresher, crisper, and ready for 2010 and beyond. Also I've got some special surprises for you... all released! One of the new site updates includes an interview with Brandon Gilberstadt, voice of Jared DeWhite.

Thanks to everyone who contributed and helped as the Scoop transitioned to the new look. It was a lot of work and I felt like pulling my hair out, but it's all done. Now can I go take a nap?

Great job (and I can actually say that now that I'm a regular frequenter of the Odyssey Scoop)! :D I, too, like the Episodes section a lot - particularly the thumbnail pictures next to the years.

Congratulations, Luke and Josh! I really liked Josh's K'NEX display with "Odyssey Scoop" at the top. In addition to the prize winners, there were other really creative entries like Linnea's with the hanging CDs, reminiscent of LizzieG's Ultimate Odyssey Fan contest entry with the hanging cassettes. Thanks for bringing out a bunch of AIO fans' passion and creativity, Jacob.

You're very welcome, Taq! Alas, I remember those wonderful days when the Unofficial Podcast was updated. This image was my favorite. What a work of art!

How could #5 (the one with CDs laid out to spell 'Odyssey') not have won? That might just rival my own. I would have chosen #22 (Katie B.), #1 (Angela G.) and #19 (Joseph B.) as 2nd through 4th respectively.

While, I think a panel of judges would have made for fairer results , all the entries were awesome and this contest should definitely be repeated again in the future. The entries seem to be getting better and better each time.

Congratulations to the winners! :thewave:

I agree. The Odyssey-spelled letters should have one. And so did number 1. I woulda picked Joseph (Jason)'s also. \:D/
