Ceiling Fan Hi-jack *WIN A COPY OF ALBUM 55*

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

Ceiling Fan Hi-jack *WIN A COPY OF ALBUM 55*

Post by Aaron Wiley »

WOWEE WOW WOW WOW!!!! Right? This is pretty exciting stuff so pay attention:

Attention all Odyssey fans! Here's your chance to win some SERIOUS Odyssey loot, and hi-jack one of the most popular Odyssey fan-casts out there!
It's time once again for our annual "Ceiling Fan Fan Hijack" contest—only this time we're looking for you, our talented listeners, to impress us with what you've got!

Here's How It Works...

1. Create your own music video from our recently released M'kalister Park album.

Option 1: You can use the track of one of our catchy M'kalister Park tracks, now available through iTunes and Amazon. Choose your favorite track and create your own music video interpretation of the song.

Option 2: Create your own version of a song from the album (a remix, acoustic, jazz, anything you want). You can sing the song yourself or with friends, play instruments—it's your call! Just be sure to make it a music video.

Option 3: Write an entirely new song about Adventures in Odyssey or The Ceiling Fan. Perform it on camera in a music video. With this option, you can participate in our contest if you are not able to get a copy of the album or specific songs. This option leaves it entirely up to you, but make sure it's a music video.

With Each option above, we will be judging entries based on creativity, professionalism, and continuity. As you create your music video, please keep in mind that use of props, lighting, backdrops, effects, titles and graphics, etc. will aid in making your video the best it can be. Your video should be no longer than 10 minutes in length (no minimum).

2. Upload it.

Once your creation is completed, upload your file to YouTube and e-mail us the link to your video. We will review submissions and showcase all entries in addition to our winning entry. If you do not have access to a YouTube account, please contact us and we will make arrangements for getting your entry to us.

What Will I Win?

We're excited to award our winning contestant with the following Adventures in Odyssey items:

Adventures in Odyssey Volume 55: The Deep End (when it becomes available Spring 2012)
The Blackgaard Chronicles: The Battle Between Good & Evil Comes Home—features 30 episodes on 10 CDs, plus a behind-the-scenes video with the writers.
Plus! A $30 gift certificate for ChristianBook.com, which contains thousands of Christian products, including Adventures in Odyssey!
In addition, your winning entry will be featured in a future Ceiling Fan video podcast and your entry will live on for our podcast fans to see!
Deadline
All video entries must be received by midnight on Saturday, December 31, 2011 (EST). Entries will be reviewed and our winning entry will be announced in early 2012.

Don't Have Our Album?

We want to give everyone a chance to participate in this one-of-a-kind contest. You can learn more about the M'kalister Park release, which includes catchy songs and upbeat lyrics at our product page. You can preview songs and purchase the album via iTunes or Amazon at low-cost. If you would rather not purchase the entire album to participate in the contest, then we would recommend previewing songs, choosing a favorite, and purchasing the individual track at a very affordable price. Most of all, we want you to create memories with this contest . . . and hopefully win the ultimate prize!

"And the Lord saw that man had created the Internet, and He was most distressed. For once people started using chatspeak and improper grammar, their level of smartness was decreased by more than 500%. And so the Lord removed all the gifts he had once bestowed on man, and it was very sad." The Book of Marvin, Chapter 351, Verse 442.
