Most Moving Scene?
Most Moving Scene?
Odssey is filled with moving, touching scenes. They can be about love, friendship, providence, but they almost always lead back to Christ. Do any of you have a particular favorite that sticks out in your mind?
When "Mr. Whit" has to leave Clara.
That one has stuck with me for years.

Probaly for me it is when Connie and Mitch break up.

I think when Eugene becomes a christian is a powerful scene. Also when Whit places his life on the line in 'Waylaid in the Windy City part 2'.

The scene where Jack has to decapitate Blackguard and when Mitch's corpse comes back to life have always touched me.

Me too. I cried myself to sleep after first hearing that scene.

The two posts above have restored my faith in humanity. There really is hope for future generations of ToOers.
I'll agree with most of the above, and throw in the opening scene of Gone... It's as if that episode includes a back-scratcher that rockets shivers down my spine every time. Also, it's probably the only episode to make me cry.

The scene in "The Inspiration Station, Part II" when Connie listens to the recording of the several kids who talked about how much they appreciated her was really touching to me. Although I've found that not many people agree with me on that...
Hmm....I got nuttin. I'm not exactly an easily moved person. But, I'll keep on thinking.
Maybe a few of the scenes in "The Mortal Coil."

I forgot to mention that the scene in album 51 where Whit has to brutally murder Eugene with an ice cream scoop to keep him from cutting his hair also gets me every time. It's easily both Andre's and Will's best performances.

Jack Allen telling Connie about Emily. Especially since Phil Lollar said a similar thing happened to Alan Young in real life.
Connie praying with Whit to be a Christian.
Ben and Aubrey in the kitchen when she becomes a Christian.
Eugene becoming a Christian.
A few scenes in Karen, like the song, and saying goodbye.

Jack telling Connie about Emily is on my list too. Jack is one of my favorite characters and I think Allen Young did that scene so well. In the same episode, there's the scene where Jason tells Tasha that he loves her but needs to marry someone of the same faith. That scene also makes me tear up a bit. Pretty much, I'm emotional throughout the entire episode. (And I'm not a person who cries a lot)Jimmy Barclay Fan wrote:Jack Allen telling Connie about Emily. The only episode that has ever made me cry has been "Karen." That was the most touching and moving episode for me.
"Some day you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again." ― C.S. Lewis
The only episode/scene that has made me cry is the scene where Mandy starts crying in "Now More Than Ever" I bawl my eyes out every time.
The only episode that makes me cry is "The Seven Deadly Dwarves."
he/him | a little stinker.
Why?
Because Snow DeWight's father comes in to rescue her?
I agree that it is a touching scene... I've never cried over it though.

The episode that had moments that I will never forget is "Karen".
