I don't think that Jason should marry anybody, at least not right now. I don't see it as a direction that his character needs to head in.

Maybe he'll find a sweet little pottery sculptor and settle down. Random, I know, but it's the perfect setup. He works at J&J Antiques now, and it's a timeless law that all antique stores have vases/other types of pottery. However, this potential woman would have to have a bit of fire in her bones to match up to Jason's spontaneousness. Here's what it would look like:

So, basically, none of the girls in the poll? Though I'm curious as to why she has to be thirty-one--is that, like, the only age for a woman attractive enough for Jason? Will he not date anyone over or under that age?

I was just wondering if your theory included that on the eve of her thirty-second birthday, she regenerated into a fresh, new thirty-one-year-old, and I thought, "You know, someone who disliked Jason/Connie on the age principle shouldn't allow for a girl to be thirty-one when he's eighty-six".

Well, if Whit is a Time Lord, then it stands to reason Jason would be.

The trauma of his battles with Mr. Grote was nothing compared to the trauma of his attempts to blend in to a normal life. Eventually, the stress of the normalcy caused him to go insane, so he had to regenerate into something a little more stable--a fellow not unlike his father--and he is now a perfect replacement for Jack Allen, being all crochety and decrepit but still wise and all. But don't tell him about his previous experiences--you wouldn't want to set off any traumatic triggers.

Well, if Whit is a Time Lord, then it stands to reason Jason would be.

Genetics. The Time Lords are a species, after all. I'm assuming that either Jenny was a companion and Connie is her unknowing replacement, or Jenny was a Time Lord herself and thus Jason, Jana, and Jerry are/were pure Time Lords themselves. I'm leaning toward the former, though, or that perhaps Jason and Jana simply choose not to use their powers.

I don't really think this, of course, although I love Doctor Who. It would be fun to explore in a fanfiction....

Well, the stage has been set for Connie to do some major growing up now. and I thought Home Again was a bit weird with how "desparately" Connie wanted to see "just a former boss". I have thought since For Whom the Wedding Bells Toll that Connie and Jason had chemsitry. She has been an adult for quite some time and people who are adults can have age differences. My husbad was 12 years older than I am and so is my cousin´s. It is not all THAT unusual. Men who are adventurous in their youth are often ready to settle down in their 30´s. In my mind Connie and Jason get married, run Whit´s End, and when Jason gets the urge to go off on some "adventure", Connie has little adventures of her own, sort of like Mrs. Columbo (yes, you are all probably too young). I have never read any Connie/Jason fanfic but would be very interested.
