What happened to those like....
- Tom Riley
- The Barclays
- The Rathbones
Are they gone from the face of the earth?

As for Tom Riley and Bart Rathbone, I think the actor playing them passed away, so it is unlikely that they will return.
(I suppose they could find a replacement like they did for Whit, but it seem less likely)

Yeah, either the actors passed away/retired or the writers stopped writing them into the show in order to move on to a new era in Odyssey. Sadly though, with most cases (regarding popular characters), the actors passed on. =[

The Barclays went on a family vacation.
The Rathbones went to Vegas.
And Tom took a European vacation.
Also Randy Quaid had a Christmas vacation.

They should totally bring back Whit's End, Connellsville. And maybe even bring in some new kid characters that are actually voiced by kids. Or just some new characters with more depth in general.
As of now it's usually just Connie, Eugene, Wooton, Penny, and Whit.

Bart is still running the Electric Palace, and The Barclays are scattered, Jimmy's in new Hampshire, Donna's in California, The parents are in Pokenberry Falls, Stewart is ?.
