EugeneReturns.com - thoughts?

Now that we've got bloopers, previews, trivia, news on Eugene Sings (?)... was the hype worth it?

Whit's wiping down the counter, Connie's mopping the floor, and the kids are sipping on their milkshakes. If you want to talk about Adventures in Odyssey the radio drama, this is the spot to do just that!

First thought upon seeing EugeneReturns.com...

Talk about icing on the cake! Wallpapers, buddy icons... Eugene OWNS this summer.

I'm confused. "44a"? "Eugene Sings"? Where is AIO going?

A little lame. Not sure I care THAT much about Eugene... it's not like NOVACOM or something.

EugeneReturns.com - thoughts?

Pretty wild that Focus went and got this domain too, on top of the whole "Something Big" web promo.

Everyone seen those "Eugene Sings" song titles:
http://www.whitsend.org/eugenereturns/eugenesings.html

Make it through the trivia and you get to hear bloopers from the "Most..." shows:
http://www.whitsend.org/eugenereturns/eugenius.cfm

Looks like this will be updated at least through summer... they're sure catering to the AIO net fans!

Thoughts??

I got 24 out of 25. The only one I missed was the one about the video series.

Yeah, I just guessed as well. I haven't seen many of those videos, so I didn't have a clue.

LOL, ah, I did enjoy that. I've said it before, but what I wouldn't give to sit in on just one recording session.

Was it indeed, Dr. Whit? :-s

I scored 23 out of 25. Hooray.

If you're too lazy to take the quiz, you can read some of the outtakes below (highlight). Of course, it isn't nearly as funny reading as it is hearing. :D

Whit: I thought I could configure the information station to help stimulate those memories.
Dr. Foster: You probably mean the Imagination Station.
Whit: The Imagination Station.
Connie: I think he's having amnesia, too!

Tom: ...making progress [praw-gress].
Eugene: Yes, progress [pro-gress].
Tom. Praw-gress.
Eugene: Pro-gress.
Tom: Pro-gress?
Eugene: Howdy.

Bernard: I'm just going to nod my head.

Anything that brings Eugene back is definitely worth all the hype.

I also got 24 out of 25 on the trivia. Like Jonathan, the only one I didn't know was the video one.

Can someone convert them to mp3? I just discovered that I don't have a prog on my desktop that can play rm files. I would download Real-alternative, but I'm on 56k.

21 out of 25 on the quiz.
I noticed an error on the quiz. number 8 refers to "Cal and Jordan" seeing Eugene at the College. It was really Cal Jordan and Alex Jefferson. Doesn't that seem like a very careless mistake?

Same here. Of course with all the people going to the site it is even slower than before.

I only got 21/25 on the quiz. :-k Oh, well! The bloopers were hilarious! I listened to the clips three times, and laughed each time! I hope that AIO starts posting bloopers on a regular basis - those were grunt-a-licious! \:D/

The Eugene Sings album looks great! I can't wait for it to come out. I find it funny that there are supposed to be 4 instrumental songs. I've never really thought of the ukulele as being much of an instrumental song kind of musical instrument. I wonder if the music will all be just ukelele, or if there will be other stuff too?
