*whispers* don't bring up HP here....it causes big theological arguments. :-

I really liked the book. Hope the movie rings true.

Pretty cool trailer. It's too bad that it's so short. Oh well, its only the teaser. Good enough to get me excited (though I guess I was already excited about the movie before seeing the trailer).

I love having wireless--I can actually watch trailors now!!!!!!! Man, this is the gift that just keeps on giving! =D>

I think it looks good....I wasn't too impressed with the last movie. I think they made it too hard to follow for people who hadn't read the book. I got it just fine since I had read the book, but I kept having to explain waht was going on to other people.......

That's good. I got really discouraged at the TH. \:D/

Yeah...so I really really liked HPATGOF. HP is by far the most creative book series that I've read in my life. Am only 123 out of 245 holds for the sixth book when it comes out to our library. :D But my loving parents don't allow me to watch the movies. Ah well...life goes on.

That's kind of strange... but our parents don't want us to read the books. No biggy, though I did read the first four before they banned them. :anxious:

I think that's what she was getting at. Though is anyone's interested there is a thread at the TH debating the series.

I'm not really allowed to read or watch HP either. How many HP books did J.K. Rowling write?

There's supposed to be seven...because he spends seven years at Hogwarts and then graduates (at least I think that's what's supposed to happen)...and in the last book..either Harry or Voldemort must die!!!!! AAAHHHHH!!! Suspense!

And the sixth is coming out in just a few months! Yay! Double Harry-Potter goodness \:D/
BTW our parents weren't sure about the series either (trust me, when we were little they wouldn't even let us watch the "It's Magic, Charlie Brown" TV special). But they did leave the choice about reading the books up to us older kids. We read 'em, loved 'em. Eventually our parents began to read them since they thought they should know what all this was about. As far as I can tell, they think the books are quite interesting and entertaining, though should probably be read by decerning readers. Now, my Dad's read all of the books so far and my mom has just started book 5.

I like Harry Potter! I can't wait for the next book! "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is my favorite in the series. I hope the movie does it justice. The first two were rather cheesy, though the third one was very cinematic.

Hmm, looks ok, book 4 was my favorite (but 5 is pretty close too), not much to it sadly.

I absoulutly love the HP series. When I was in Canada I broke down and picked up the series for myself. I am looking forward to the next book coming out. Although I may have to wait a while because I ordered mine from Canda. I'm also looking forward to seeing GoF. I can't wait to see it in IMAX. I have to say I love Order of the Phonix best because Fred and George are my two favourite characters and some of their best tricks are pulled in that book.
