Enchanted

Post by Thursday Next »

Ok I've got to say this movie is great. I remember watching the trailer and thinking that this movie has the potential to be either really awesome or really terrible. I can't wait for this to come out on DVD.

It looks pretty good...

...and for those who care what Plugged In says, it received a fairly positive review.

When I saw the trailer, I knew that this was a movie that I had to see, and I really enjoyed it when I saw it a couple days ago! I did look at the FOTF review quickly before I saw it and was glad to see that it looked good, and it really was a good family movie! For really little kids it might be scary. It's nice to see a secular movie that says good things about falling in love and marriage and where people actually care about each other, while all the Princess things are still there and wonderful! \:D/

I saw it with my family and it's decent. It provides a few laughs here and there but it's not hilarious.

The main thing that drives me nuts about this movie was the fact that they decided to parody Disney Animation instead of bringing it back. I still pray nightly that John Lasseter is able to resurrect a once proud animation department. This wasn't a good sign.

I still haven't seen it but a friend of mine saw it yesterday... and he said he was going in skeptical but his fiancee forced him to go... but he really enjoyed it. \:D/

Plus, what daring casting in having James Marsden play a jilted lover!

I've seen the trailers...it looks pretty funny! I probably won't be able to see it in theaters, but it's definitely one I'll rent.

James Marsden is actually pretty good in the movie... and he was really good in Hairspray (I didn't like the movie but his performance was great).

It looks like life after Cyclops is treating him well....

Still I'm amused he's been cast now at least 3 times as a jilted lover. ;)

I saw the original Hairspray years ago and don't really remember it... but from what I could tell his role wasn't major in the remake though I could be wrong!

No it wasn't major (and it wasn't a jilted lover ;))

I saw this movie last week. It was pretty good. It was really clean, which was nice. It's a good family movie. Fairly funny, and a cute story.

I am fairly sure I can't talk my husband into it, but maybe I can talk him into watching the boy while I take girl who absolutely wants to see it!

I saw Enchanted and it is actually pretty funny. When the movie started, I was like this is stuuupidd. But, as it went on, it was very funny. I compare it to the likes of Elf, just not Christmasy. You should definately rent it. It's good for more than one laugh. =D>

Just saw it today ;) . It was pretty good...not as good as I was expecting, but overall I liked it. There's a part at the end I would've changed though...
